Hill Country Outdoor Terms & Conditions- Effective November 6th, 2015

SERVICE SHOP RATES

WALK BEHIND MOWERS & HANDHELD EQUIPMENT

  • Deposit at Drop-off -------------------------- $40.00
  • Diagnostic Fee --------------------------------- $40.00
  • Pre-Authorized Repair Amount ----------- $140.00
  • Reassembly Fee (if repair declined) ------ $80.00 / hour

RIDING MOWERS, TILLERS & COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT

  • Deposit at Drop-off -------------------------- $80.00
  • Diagnostic Fee --------------------------------- $80.00*
  • Pre-Authorized Repair Amount ----------- $250.00
  • Reassembly Fee (if repair declined) ------ $80.00 / hour

* NOTE: Diagnostic Fee covers TEAR-DOWN only, not reassembly. Fee applied to repair work if performed.


SHARPENING

  • Mower Blades(each): On Mower = $13.50; Off Mower = $10.50
  • Regular Chainsaw Chain (each): On Saw = $13.50; Off Saw = $10.50
  • Carbide Chainsaw Chains: $30.00 on saw, $25.50 off saw

POSTED SHOP LABOR RATE ------ $80.00 per hour




SERVICE SHOP POLICIES

SHOP DEPOSIT

  • Deposit is due at time equipment is dropped off.
  • Deposit will be refunded should repair be covered by factory warranty.
  • Deposit will be applied to repair total.
  • If repair work is declined, deposit will be applied to Diagnostic Fee.
  • Appropriate Environmental Disposal and Shop Supply fees will be applied on all shop jobs.

SHOP WARRANTY

  • Commercial Equipment – 15 day Parts & Labor warranty (from date service completed).
  • Residential Equipment – 30 day Parts & Labor warranty (from date service completed).
  • No returns or Service warranty without HCOP sales receipt.
  • HCOP, LLC will not be held responsible for loss or damage due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond HCOP, LLC’s control while units are on the HCOP property.

ABANDONED EQUIPMENT

  • $1.00/day storage fee on finished repairs left over 30 days.
  • Items left over 60 days from first notice of completion WILL BE SOLD or DISCARDED.



STORE ORDERS & STORE POLICIES

RETURNS (must be in new, unused, resalable condition)

  • Returns within 7 days of purchase, with receipt, will be given a full refund.
  • Returns within 14 days of purchase, with receipt, will be given a store credit.
  • NO RETURNS AFTER 14 DAYS OF PURCHASE.

SPECIAL ORDERS & ELECTRICAL PARTS

  • Pre-payment required on all Special Orders.
  • Cancellations on special orders are subject to a 25% Restocking Fee.
  • NO RETURNS ON SPECIAL ORDERS OR ELECTRICAL PARTS.

STORE POLICIES

  • $3.00 Mandatory State Disposal Fee on all Replacement Batteries.
  • Residential Checks accepted from Austin-area customers only.
  • $25.00 Service Fee for All Returned/ Non-Sufficient Checks
