DROP-OFF DEPOSIT AND PRE-AUTHORIZED REPAIR AMOUNT: To ensure repairs are done efficiently, a deposit is taken on ALL equipment at the time of drop-off and ALL customers automatically pre-authorize their equipment to be repaired up to the full deposit amount. Any fees for desired Optional Services (e.g. Pick-up & Delivery, Expedited Service) are also charged at the time of drop-off.

  • $200 for EACH handheld, walk mower < 32", tiller, pressure washer, generator.
  • $400 for EACH riding mower, walk mower > or = 32", and all other equipment.

DIAGNOSTIC FEE: ALL repair jobs receive an initial diagnosis by a technician which is charged as a fixed fee. The Diagnostic Fee differs depending upon the type of equipment. Discounts may apply if the equipment was purchased from our store (HCOP).

  • $50.00 for EACH handhelds and walk mowers under 32"
  • $100.00 for EACH riding mowers, walk mowers 32" or larger, tillers, pressure washers, generators, and all other

SHOP LABOR RATE: All repair labor performed beyond the initial diagnosis will be applied at the following Shop Labor Rate:

  • $100 per hour Standard Labor Rate

REPAIR QUOTES AND DECLINED REPAIR: If the cost of a repair will exceed the pre-authorized amount, the customer will receive a repair quote to approve. If a customer declines a repair quote or a unit is not reasonably repairable, the Diagnostic Fee will be charged against the deposit. Unrepaired equipment is not reassembled. Reassembly is billed at the hourly Shop Labor Rate. Unrepaired equipment must be picked-up within 30 days of declining a quote or the remaining Deposit amount will be charged as a disposal fee.

WARRANTY: If the Service Manager determines an issue is covered by warranty then the deposit may be refunded at Pick-up.

REPAIR TIME: ALL repair times quoted by employees are ESTIMATES.

EXPEDITED SERVICE: This optional service moves your equipment into the faster EXPEDITED PRIORITY queue. Fees differ depending upon the type of equipment and if the equipment. Discounts may apply if the equipment was purchased from our store (HCOP):

  • $50 for EACH handheld, walk mower < 32", tiller, pressure washer, generator.
  • $100 for EACH riding mower, walk mower > or = 32", and all other equipment.

PICK-UP & DELIVERY: This Optional Service applies per trip and can be used for multiple pieces of equipment:

  • Pick up & Delivery is $6 per mile from store to destination. Minimum charge of $50.
  • Delivery only is $3 per mile from store to destination. Minimum charge of $25.

SHOP FEES: Shop supply fees are applied to ALL repair jobs. Repaired equipment only contains sufficient fuel to test proper operation.

PARTS & LABOR SERVICE WARRANTY (from date of Pick-up): Commercial Use: 15 days, Residential Use: 30 days.

ABANDONED EQUIPMENT: Repaired Equipment left over 30 days from first notice of completion is considered abandoned and after an additional 30 days may be SOLD or DISCARDED at our sole discretion. The Deposit will be applied to the repair and any excess will be charged as a disposal fee.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: ALL items must be in new, unused, resalable condition and have the original receipt. EQUIPMENT may be returned within 7 DAYS of purchase. PARTS may be returned within 14 DAYS of purchase. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES AFTER 14 DAYS.

SPECIAL ORDERS: Pre-payment required on ALL Special Orders. The Cancellation or Return of Special Ordered Parts is subject to a 25% Restocking Fee. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON SPECIAL ORDERED EQUIPMENT.

STORE POLICIES:

  • Personal Checks accepted from Austin-area customers only.
  • $25 Service Fee for ALL Returned Checks.
  • $3 State Disposal Fee on all Replacement Batteries.

HOLD HARMLESS: We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of your equipment due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause.
